Hi All! Sorry I have been lagging a little on posting lately. Just been super busy with things. On the brighter side I am going to share one of my favorite recipes with you all today. Everyone always asks me for this recipe, so here it is finally!
How to make the perfect Açaí Bowl…
5-6 strawberries (frozen)
A handful of blueberries (frozen)
One packet of Acai (frozen)
Half a cup of greek yogurt (plain)
1/3 cup coconut water (I usually just eyeball it)
1 whole banana
Throw everything in the blender except the banana and granola. Blend until the consistency is perfect (thick not watery). Top it off with banana and granola. Voilá! There you have it, the perfect Acai bowl.
I also want to share the health benefits of Acai with you all. Acai has the highest level of antioxidants compared to any other fruit. Acai berries are low on sugar but have excellent source of iron, fiber, calcium and Vitamin A. These are just a few of the benefits, but if you would like to know more, the link attached here has a lot more information. Acai can be hard to find, some Whole Foods and Costco’s carry it.
