Make-up must haves

Hellllooooo! I hope you dolls are having a lovely week. I have been super busy this week but finally got some down time today. I want to share some of my favorite make-up products with you ladies. I hope you all enjoy this post. : )

I love Mac products but I am not a huge fan of wearing there products on a daily bases. I have tried many foundations, but for some reason the only foundation I always end up with is a Mac foundation. I absolutely love this one. It is a build-able liquid foundation, which means you could wear it from day to night. I have not broken out from wearing this Mac foundation.

Some other recommendations for foundations…

I cannot say enough about this Armani Luminous Silk foundation – it is amazing! The only reason why I don’t use this foundation is because the colors do not match my skin tone 🙁  I was absolutely bummed out when I found out that I could not be matched to this foundation. Ladies! If this foundation works for you, get it.  It is great and you won’t be disappointed.

YSL is another make-up brand that makes great foundations. The Touche Éclat Le Teint is great.  This is the one I am planing on switching to after I run out of my Mac liquid foundation.

I definitely prefer liquid foundations over powder foundations, especially for night time. For a morning work/school look, you can definitely wear something lighter. I like to use this BB cream from clinique, if this is not enough coverage for you, you can also mix a pea size amount of your regular liquid foundation.

I also own Bareminerals powder foundation that I like to use for a morning look. I tend to go over with powder after I apply the BB cream from clinique.

Ladies!!!! If you do not contour your face please do. I am obsessed with contouring. I think everyone should couture their face because it gives more definition to ones face. I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit in powder. This kit is great if you are just starting out. The colors in this kit are great for olive skin tones. Also, what I love about this kit is that it is super affordable.

I do not contour my face every single day, but when I go out I do not leave the house without contouring. If I am getting ready for a fancy night out, I like to go a little bit over the top and apply a liquid contour and then go over it with a powder contour. For the cream contour I use L.A. Girl concealer stick in bronze.

I love bronzers, usually for a day look I like to use a bronzer on my face instead of contouring. I own this little black book of bronzers by Too Faced and this is was one of the best investments I ever made. This book has great colors to even contour your face.

Ladies this is sold out almost everywhere, but I found one on Amazon and it is only 6 more dollars.

I just recently got into highlighters and I love them. They are so fun, and take your make-up to another level. I use the Champagne pop by Becca. I will also post some of my other favorites below.

I have really bad dark circles, so I definitely like to use a good concealer. I start out with the Armani Master Corrector, and then apply my concealer on top. I use the Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer. I like this concealer but I am a little hesitant on recommending this to everyone. I do not see flawless results from this concealer and I am planning to switch concealers. The one that I have been meaning to switch to is Clé de Peau.  I have only heard good things about this concealer. So why haven’t I switched?! The cost of this concealer is ridiculous, it is a whopping 70 dollars!! Yes 70 dollars. I will buy it eventually, but not sure when.

I know I haven’t even touched on eyes and lips, but I hope to do another post soon with all of my favorite eyeshadows and lipsticks! Most importantly, using the right brushes with all of these products is a must! Consider this to be a Part 1 of the make-up series! : )
